Charlotte Bælum
Where did you grow up?
I was raised in Rødding in Southern Denmark (where Denmark’s oldest folk high school is located).
What is your professional background?
I graduated from college, where I was studying the international line with subjects such as German, Spanish, and International Economics. Subsequently, I am an AP Graduate in Commerce Management specialising in digital marketing and e-commerce, but I have previously worked as a bartender and tour guide, among other things.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies include the typical ones like spending time with family and friends, etc. But also, I have a huge obsession with reading books (from January to April alone, I have read 18 books, which I personally find impressive considering my role as a new mother). Additionally, I enjoy photography and editing pictures.
What attracted you to Costa del Sol?
I actually ended up here by accident when I got a job as a tour guide for the Danish travel agency, Bravo Tours. I was only supposed to be here for 1 summer, but the laid back lifestyle, climate, and love made me stay 😉
What do you like most about being a Marketing Manager?
That I can express myself creatively, and that I am challenged daily, constantly experiencing small “success stories” when things succeed. I learn something new every day!
What is your personal advice for buying a home?
Have patience!
What is a fun fact about you?
If I had the opportunity (and the space), I would adopt every stray dog in Spain! I LOVE dogs!
