The Costa del Sol, located in southern Spain, has traditionally been a popular destination for tourists and property investors due to its warm climate, beautiful beaches, and relaxed lifestyle. The property market on the Costa del Sol has been relatively stable in recent years, with prices increasing slightly but steadily.

In the past five years, we have seen a significant increase in the housing market on the Costa del Sol. In fact, it has increased by as much as 67% since June 2018.

The average price is approximately € 1,140,000, calculated from 22,328 properties. But don’t let this high price scare you. This high figure is, among other things, because Marbella, Benahavís and Istán pull the average up. Benahavís alone has an average price of approximately € 2,670,000, whereas Manilva, the cheapest area, is around € 390,000. The average prices apply to apartments, townhouses and villas altogether.

Our year ended very well, with our agent Dennis Moberg Nielsen closing the company’s highest-value sale of 2022.
